p.1 #1 · Lightroom question

Just updated to lightroom and I am saving a pic after workflow. What process do you use. In elements, I could use the "save as" command, save as a jpeg and drag it over to my Whitehouse custom color software for printing but I can't figure out how to drag it over. Any help please?

There is no "saving" in Lightroom since you're working with a database. As you edit, your changes are automatically saved (written as info into the database).

You want to use the Export command which will let you save out JPGs for WHCC.

I don't recall, but I think you can set up LR to automatically include the directory that you exported to, then you should be able to see it in LR and could drag. Otherwise, you could export directly to the WHCC directory. Or, use another photo management program to handle jpg's (i.e. Bridge, ACDsee, IranView, etc)

Just import the files you just exported as jpgs. You can put them in a sub-folder named "processed"

Sorry just re-read your post.
You need to add a folder to your Library(the + sign) and when it asks you make a new one or pick an existing one then pick your Whitehouse folder. Then export your photos as JPGs to this folder. The only thing I don't know is whether they will show up after the export. If not just import them as I said above.
