I am planning a week long trip to Acadia in Maine this summer. Beginning of July is my time slot.
Any one have any suggestions on places or things to do photography related or not.
I think we are staying at Mt. Desert Island Campground.
I will be using my kayak, biking, and hiking with camera gear in tow. The poeple we are going with have gone for three years in a row so we have tour guides but I would feel savvy with some of my own information obtained from the great FMer's.
Thanks
It has been way too long a time since I have been there. I will tell you one thing, take plenty of storage media, everything there is a photographic joy! And, honestly, you won't want to leave.
You have the carriage trails and stone bridges in the woods, dramatic granite cliffs, a thunder hole, spectacular views of bays and the every changing seascapes based on the tide. Oh believe me, there is not shortage of photo offerings, only limited to the time you have so enjoy it greatly.
