How do you find it compared to other apps. Is the colour good? What dont you like?

Thanks.

Hi Morgan,
I find it is a great time saving device for batch processing and the results, certainly at print sizes, are generally superb. I could match it in PS, but it would take me a long time. Typically, I can process 1000 shots from a wedding in about 4 hours.

Quality wise, I submit to a stock agency well known for its stringent technical QC. I find I have to knock a lot of the settings down to a minimum when processing RAWs but generally no problem. I hear that there have been a few teething issues with v5 (although some of the interface upgrades seem worthwhile) so I stuck with v4.5. It does everying I need anyway.

I first came onto it at the website www.planetneil.com . I think the review (v3.5) is still there and gives a good idea of its capabilities.

I use it. Last version seems to be, so far, stable. However nice tool.

I like the lens correction, keystoning and lightning correction very well. I don't like the RAW converter. The colors, especially faces, have too munch pink.
The program is pretty slow as wel, but it's stable.
I use DxO within my Lightroom workflow for specific pictures, never for batches.
For "older" camera's you have a lot of lens modules. It takes some time before the newer cams have lens modules created.

It does all the lens corrections. Love the batch processing but I tend to use the camera Colour. I do highlight recovery on some and it does a good job for getting most to a printing state. Some of the tricky shots I do in PS3.

I use it as a tool to give the couple an idea of the results. That way, I only have to do work on a few shots.
