all of them are really nice but i like the focus on 8 and 9, and yes, the setting of 11 is very nice
Rebecca, Thanks for the comments about 8 & 9. I almost deleted these when I was going thru my shots of that day. I liked the mood and the feeling the shots gave - very cold day with snow falling a short time after these shots were taken. Steve W

There's some nice ones in here Steve. I like # 2 (although I can't really tell you what it is about it I like). I also like #s 7, 10, and 11. Nice pleasing colors and inclusion of environmental elements so that must be it

Thanks, Steve. I think I got lucky with the shots that day. I took a few that I didn't have much hope for - but decided what the heck - I'll see if I can get the shot and learn a little. Steve W

Nice work Steve. I too am partial to habitat so 2 intrigues me. I have never seen these guys in real life so it gives me an idea of what it would be like to turn the corner and see them. Maybe crop some off the top, near the top of the grass and make a pano out of it. Just a thought.

Tim, Thanks for the nice commets. I just liked that look of the cranes that were kind of floating in the weeds. If you make it down to NM give me a call and I'll tell you where to find them. They are starting to move back north and probably will be gone in another month. Steve W
Well done. Love 5,6, and 7 flight shots. Looks like you and I both have the same sharpening technique based on shot 5 Maybe we should go to a Mask Layers Class together

Great captures I enjoyed the SHCs
Anthony, If you sharpen like I do - we both have problems. I certainly need to take a few classes - I have lots to learn! I did look at another topic about processing that was posted earlier - interesting. Glad you liked the shots. Steve W
Chad, Thanks for the kind words. By the way your super close-up shot that you posted of a Sandhill some time ago inspired me to try for some close-ups also. They don't have the super quality of the one you posted but I think you will find them interesting -- when I get time to post em. Steve W
