These aren't terribly exciting but I was proud to get these shooting in the shade of the forrest without a flash and spending 20 minutes inching close enough to get these full frame shots. I had to shoot high ISO and nearly wide open to get anything so the dof wasn't the best but I was happy nonetheless.
Look forward to sharing with each other in 2004!!!
A dear friend of mine died recently. An avid skydiver, he stated in his will that his ashes should be dispersed by his skydiving buddies.
I went to south Florida to be a part of that--here's the resulting images. The cloud of his ashes, the only cloud to be seen, lasted only about 50 seconds.
Fantastic images in this thread. I do bugs mostly, but here is a toad. I call it "the Prince" because it appears to be twiddling it's thumbs while waiting for a kiss. Since the critters are nocturnal, I brought this one into my "studio" and shot it with a white backboard and then replaced the background in the digital darkroom to give it a natural feel. http://www.pbase.com/image/21189359.jpg
