I shot two games (night and day) this weekend in Port Saint Lucie (ST home of the Mets). Villanova versus Michigan. I am only posting 6-images. Dan are you there? CC please.
NOTE: More images have been added at the end.

These looks really nice, especially from behind the plate, I think you got just enough of his eye and the ball/fingers to make it work. Considering the lighting at these stadiums, I think you did pretty well with the exposures. Fairly clean backgrounds too
If I had one crit, I would like to see more diverse angles, at least within a 6-photo set; all but one of them is from the same spot. You can probably also get lower to the ground and that will eliminate all the infield grass in. Did you shoot these portrait or landscape?
Nice and sharp, and the night ones don't have any noise, at least at this size - how did you like St Lucie? I may be heading down there next month to cover a Mets game or two

Danny thanks for the reply. I did shoot from other angles but I have to be more acutely aware of where I am shooting from. I do have more from behind the plate right and left. I will post more variety later today or tomorrow. I initially was concerned about my exposures day versus night.
My behind the plate shots were/are portrait and the lateral shots landscape. Unfortunately, I could not get lower than the first row. On some especially on the 1st base side I was shooting on my but. I will post more diversity later as I was feeling out you and the rest of the top shooters.
Port Saint Lucie is attractive as is the Tradition Field.
Thanks for the reply Danny.

sitting in the general seating area, can't get much lower than that, so with that in mind, you did well. I like this last added shot too, well-exposed under back-lit conditions it looks

I like 3 best. I think the side lighting and the catchlight in the eye give it a more dramatic feel. Nice job on the exposures with the backlighting on 4-6. Are these right out of the camera or some tweaking in post?
