I went back down to LaJolla a couple of weks ago, as I was photographing these guys I was actually thinking of Doug Bentlage photographing eagles in the freezing cold, I would trade you in a heartbeat Doug for a day maybe
This is the cliff to the east of the bluff where we photograph the pelicans, as you can see the cormrants are abundant along this cliff, familiar to some here I'm sure.

An amazing set! Great color, super detail. The last shot is great. I wonder how the folks living above - on the hill handle the wildlife. Steve W
Thanks Steve, I don't see much of the wildlife going up on the hill, I think tourist may be more bothersome
Super series Steve, excellent job on the colors and detail. It is really hard to pick a favorite, each one is outstanding. As far as photographing eagles in the freezing cold....it really isn't that bad, once you become numb, you don't feel a thing!
Steve A, how to you put the pictures on directly if your image upload is off? I do not have image upload, and it looks like you dont either, but how do you put the pics directly on

I just insert the html code myself, put my images between the brackets, however your images still need to be hosted somewhere on line, all you are doing is linking to them.

Thanks Geno, yes the cormorants are pretty darn impressive to see, I find it amusing that they all face the cliff, reminds me of when I was a kid
