here are a few Reddish Egrets from today. Truly a wonderful bird to observe and photograph. Well worth traipsing through the lagoon for a spectacular show. have not posted in forever (not shot much lately) so today was a great day.
A spectacular set of photos of an egret not seen much in So, Cal. . The presentation seems to build with each photo. All shots are colorful and tack sharp and the commentary indicates you enjoyed the show as well. Were these shot in the San Diego area by any chance ? #11 sets the tone for detail for sure.

These were shot in SW Florida at Little Estero Lagoon, Ft Myers, today. My 2nd visit there and a wonderful location with the RE very active both times.
Wow - these are awesome. Love the sharpness, the lighting and the poses. Interesting on #5 how you can see the reflection of the water. Wonderful shots. They make me feel like I am right there. Love the commentary too. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, those were fun to look at! What an entertaining series you captured. Beautiful Egret, #2 and 9 are sweet. Interesting challenge to capture the end of the bill being that it is jet black and sometimes seems to disappear. You did a fantastic job on all these, must have been fun to be there.
