p.1 #1 · Setting the Avitar

I am struggling to figure out how to resize a picture for uploading as my avitar. I have it at less than 60 by 60 pixels but it still gets rejected for being too big (i.e. greater than 15K bytes).

I am using Elements to resize and cannot figure out what to do to maximize the resolution yet keep it under the maximum bytes.

Try lowering the quality settings when you save, that might do the trick.

Tried that. I'm sure there is a simple fix....just doesn't seem simple when you can't figure it out.

Here is what I am trying to turn into an avatar (I also can't spell worth a hoot)

I had the same problem and gave up. Maybe I will try again now that the problem is fixed.
