I uploaded some photos I shot last night and I did everything the same that I always do and I had a handful of photos that aren't showing up in Photo Mechanic, the box is blacked out and reads in red letters "Unsupported Format Variant"
What is this? and what should I do?

There's a chance that they didn't download correctly for some reason re-download em.
Make sure there not corrupted.
Try loading them into whatever photo editing software yeh have and saving them into what ever format they support?
Beside that not enough info to go.
