I am new to the forum. I know a version of this was posted already but I had to wait to shoot mine on the cliffs of Oahu. Canon 30D, Canon 400mm F2.8 IS, F4 1/2500 ISO 200. C&C welcome.
Thanks. I had to go with the 400mm because of location. The model was on a cliff overlooking the ocean (this helped with the wind) and I was forced to shoot from a cliff next to her. Thanks again for the comments.
Funny, usually I'm telling people to tighten the crop. But I think a wider view, including the cliff, would've added to the drama and put some perspective on this wind and where it came from.
Very nicely done. I also like the purple,it add a bit of life to the shot. I do agree with Chad that I would like to see a wider view of this. The space on the right seem to balance the shot. Well done and welcome.

All in all, still a really great shot,
Chad
Chad,
Thanks. I am going to re-shoot this in another location. The cliff I wanted to include didn't work as well as planned and due to time, I wanted to submit something. I will be posting it again in the critique section to help make this shot better. Thanks again for your comments.

This is a very interesting shot. I really like the color and the flow of the fabric. For me I would like to see the model's face a bit more clearly or more of a silhouette. Just seeing a bit of her face seems like either too much or too little. I do really like the idea and the shot, however. Good luck this week.
Thanks. I attempted a complete silhouette but the lighting was quite right. I did some post work to darken her face a bit, but only minor. I have plans in the works to re-shoot this with longer fabric and more of a silhouette.
Good luck to you as well. Being new to the forum, I can tell you it is a bit unnerving to jump in and submit with all the great imagery that is posted daily.

Guns,
I was reading about the comments on wider shot. Depending on the setup of the cliff it could be an interesting shot if wider. The strong purple color I think would be great to pull the eyes to the subject.
