I KNOW this has been discussed ad nauseum before, but I can't find any threads on it.
What is the reason for not creating a separate forum for nikon and canon equipment in the B&S board? Or, create one "canon" forum and one "everything else". Being a Nikon guy, I usually see 2 or 3 threads pertaining to me on each page, all the rest are canon related.

I apologize Romulus, but I don't think your idea would work well at the moment. We don't have a lot of Nikon threads on the B&S board and because of that, creating a dedicated forum may not be necessary.
Interestingly, I've been observing what appears to be an increase in activity for Nikon gear, stirred no doubt by the recent releases and the fact quite a few Canon users are examining the competition and occasionally switching systems. If its a problem looking at Canon gear, how about searching thread title for the word Nikon. That should get you where you want to be. Personally, I'd prefer that the board remain as it is.
I prefer to have both camps on one section. It's interesting to see how much activities Nikon gets now that the quality of their camera has improved. Yes, it may take longer to filter through tons of Canon seller but unless all of us send more funds to Fred to have additional page/production then and until then we are stuck with what Fred has. Still though, I think this is one cool resource site so far. Thanks Fred.
Is there any chance grouped matching would be added in the future? I'm thinking something like "(85mm, 85, 85L) (f/1.2, 1.2, 1.2L)" to be able to match any combination between the brackets. I think that would really help since so many people write lens names differently.

The following will work:
(85mm)|(85)|(85L) (f1.2)|(1.2)|(1.2L)
However, it needs some attention as the dot are wild. I will try to have a look at it this weekend if i get through all the other stuff...
