p.1 #1 · good system to manage rolls of paper/vinyl??

I would to hear what you do to make changing out your rolls of paper/vinyl a little quicker/easier. I know their are big expensive systems out there, but I know someone has a quick and dirty way!

I have 4 rolls at this point and a hardwood floor. 10ft ceilings.

I don't know what kind of support system you're using but there are wall/ceiling supports than can take up to 5 rolls. Mine takes 3.

right now I am using a portable solution. So ...two stands and one roll.

These are the ones I have:

You screw them to the wall.

Then you add these to each end of the rolls and put them in place:

That's pretty much it.

Mine holds 6, but I'm looking for a motorized option so I can get the chains out of the way.

Only one I know of is the previously mentioned Manfrotto Expan system. They have a motorized setup as well. I'm looking into them for setting up my studio.

You can also check Amvona (google it), they used to have a system too.

I would go with the Manfrotto system.

Cool! Two new options. Gotta look some more, but those look like possible alternatives to Manfrotto (though Amvona on initial glance looks like a complete ripoff of the Manfrotto Expan system...how do they get away with that?)

I heard a year or so ago Photoflex was going after them for copyright violations.
Guess if Manfrotto/Bogen thought they had a case they would too.
