p.1 #1 · Huddle Up

This will be my first post in this forum after a year or so of lurking and watching the masters work. Here is a floral macro created with a TS-E 90mm and 25mm extension tube in honer of the Super Bowl this Sunday.

Neat David, at first glance thought I was looking at some bizarre insect, never know on this forum. Then I read your caption and thought huddle up and aren' those goal posts in the background too?
I like the dramatic lighting.

Lovely shot. Have often wondered about the 90 TSE - how do you like using it with tubes - is the tilt-shift increased DOF easy to figure out? -Amy

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I cannot take credit fro the great color, that credit is belongs to nature and the great florist the picked out the flower for me. This is an image of a Pincushion Protea if any one is wondering. I also stuffed a small little white LED inside the flower to give it a little bit of glow and help saturate the colors.

Using the 90mm T/S with tubes is somewhat of a challenge for me as with any other macro work. It is not the operation of the lens itself but verifying that you have everything in focus that you want thru the viewfinder. Otherwise if you use the DOF preview and slow tilt the lens you can easily see areas of your subject come into focus.
