I'm sure huguito can answer this better than I can but what I can recall about moray eels is that they can be very vicous if provoked but they are also very friendly if they get used to humans... Such as in aquariums, etc. Their flesh is also very toxic. Thats all I can really remember. You don't want to go dangling your fingers in front of them
HI Patrick
You are right, many of the creatures I have posted are venomous or can bite/sting/scratch, etc...
As with any wild thing, you give them enough space or try not to look to them as either prey or that you are praying on them.
As an example, you can approach many fish from the side , while they can see you, and they let you get very close if you move in a relaxed way.
You approach them from behind or above, like a hunting animal would do, and they run away or turn to do something nasty to save themselves.
I was taking photos of a two white tip sharks under a big ledge, the space between the rock above and the ocean floor was at the most 3 feet. I approached them very slowly and was able to get at 12 inches from their face. As soon as an idiot start swimming on their back moving fast they took off.
Nobody got bitten, but they where big enough that one bump me into the rock and make me get a cut on my head.
I'm glad you guys like them.
