stuart, very sharp sharp and colorful image. I'm particularly biased towards the chondros, and find the patterns in the youngsters especially fascinating. Nice red eyes to match!

arlon, great detail in your shot. I like the DOF in the scales and the blue/green transition surrounding the eye. Because you are so close, I might consider a tighter crop to give more of an abstract feel.
