Wow you guys do some great stuff! I'm not a frequent visitor of the Macro forum but I just popped in and I'm very very impressed. Anyone mind sharing their lens choices for some of these?
I hope this is acceptable (my first post on FM)! I shot this with my Rebel XT & Sigma 70-300 APO DG Macro in my backyard pond a while back. It's not a true macro (probably works out to about 1:3 or so), but hopefully it's close enough.
I was hoping to photograph frogs in my daughter's pond and had set up, laying on the ground with my Canon100 hanging over the water, aimed at a spot I seen some candidates. Nothing, they'd done a disappearing trick! A while later I was just about to give up when I spotted this one sitting directly under the lens - I had to back up!
