Joe, that Eastern Diamondback shot kicks! The patterns... the patterns....

I dropped my gear bag to get a shot of an Oregon Green Rattler one afternoon (which I got) and when I went to pick up the bag, found this

about ten inches from where I sat the bag down. OK, not a macro, but I was using a 105 Micro, and that's quite close enough, thank you.

Great expression on the turtle, Brent!

Not quite Macro, as he was probably 6 ft. long. Shot with a 70-200mm f/2.8 from about 10 feet away on New Years Day.

And yeah, I know how fast they run. Thankfully it was a cold morning and he wasn't hungry.
