On going through some relatively old shots.. I found some from the Alabama Hills I shot in January '04. This was my first outing with a DSLR and i was shooting at the time a D70.
I have found a bunch of images from that afternoon and morning I never processed but probably should have done back then.
here is the first set of a series from those two days.
Hope you don't get too bored with them too quickly...
All three of these shots are a blend of two images. One exposed for the sky and other for the ground.
Eric, it's nice to cruise back to earlier images from previous cameras. These are all good compositions with the last one being my favourite for its uplifting colours and tones.

Nice work. As with Al, and David, I like the third shot best. I do like 1 and 2, but would have liked a higher vantage point for the camera to show a bit more of the mtns. You know, like a thousand foot ladder. Good stuff pal.
