First sunset I've been able to shoot in almost six months, and man did I need it. Color never really happened short of a really brief spot of pink on the cloud seen here (apparently the Seattle Metro area saw a MUCH more impressive show), but I'll take what I can get.

Not impressive color Hmmmm... We have seen lot's of great shots of Second Beach lately, and this one is right up with them! I actually love that there is really just that one cloud and how it offsets the sea stacks. And the foreground on this, with the reflection in that pool of water... man... this one is super sweet!
Very neat shot Brian. The only gripe I have is, that the rock on the right side is cut a bit (or it seems like) so you should've paid a bit more attention when composing. Talking about sunsets, I missed 1 great and 2 absolutely gorgeous sunsets in january already (the last two happened yesterday and today) so I totally know how you feel. Damn exams

I was much more concerned with centering the pool and getting the reflected cloud in the shot than making sure the rocks would appear centered. Fair trade off if you ask me, since the rocks aren't really drawing attention.
