It was a weird evening .. there was thunder and lightning in the horizon and yet as the sun managed to break through on the left to give the skyline the highlight.

beautiful! sunset light from the west and cloudy skies to the east!
i guess you were on board a ship?
i used to sail and call the ports of perth and freemantle in the middle 80's.
missed western australia...

I was actually on land

..

Perth is on the foreshore of the Swan river. The photo was taken on the southern side (South Perth).

Yah, it is a beautiful city .. a bit dull for for most people.
