p.1 #1 · Notice noise last night

This is way off topic of anything I've ever read or seen posted

So maybe I'm crazy, or just paying to much attention to photography related stuff since buying my first dslr, or I was exceptionally tired last night, but...

Last night I was lying awake and looking around the bedroom, which was quite dark of course. I could've sworn that I was seeing noise with everything I looked at just like a high ISO shot. Is this possible, and what causes it?

What type of noise were you seeing. Chroma or luma noise?
If were both, you may need to start wearing low ISO glasses. Sorry bud!

I'd suggest partaking of a glass of Port wine prior to retiring. That should take care of the noise. And if it doesn't, you won't really care.

I know what you mean, I can also see noise when I close my eyes.

Haha, good responses

I think it would have to be classified as luma noise.

I'm not a drinker so the wine isn't an option unfortunately.

I guess I better try again tonight

Ouch! I do like the concept of the Port-noise-reducer though. So the converse would be a Monster drink as sharpener?

There must've been a noise ninja spreading fairy dust around your bedroom.

Some noise was keeping me awake last night too, but it went away when I closed the shutters.
