The tree to the right of the snag the eagle is in is one of my favorite spots to glass this ridge from the top for Deer. When I got to where I park the camera wagon I saw the eagle. Should I be mad at the eagle or change my plans and take a few photos of him Not a hard decision for me.
I figured I would try to get him to move his head a little for a different look. The crow call didn't work so I tried a calf call and it semi got his attention. After these 3 I thanked him and left.
Just wanted you to know that I respect the fact you didn't approach him until he flew off. It's tempting to move closer and closer - ohh I know that feeling all too well.

This time of the year with all the snow and ice and frozen ground all wildlife need to spend their energy looking for dinner not flying or running away from a photographer IMHO.
