The number of posts for an individual does not seem to be changing. I have been following a couple of threads where the OP is responding to comments made and the number of posts is static even though there have been multiple posts.
Bob -- I think what you're seeing is once that person makes a new post, it shows the increased number on all his posts. Right now I have 1167 posts, as soon as I post this reply it will increase to 1168 on all my posts throughout FM.
