Haven't shared in a while so thought I would ..
I took this at a family reunion and adored this girls look of glee as she played with a water hose..so I changed the BG, used the preset rain brush in PS and painted lightly with a spackle brush.
Hope ya like it and thanks for looking susi
Susi, great, I love all of your work. Is the "preset rain brush" something that you have in the DVD's. Can you please explain what the brush is/does. Thanks.

Thank you so much Rod, Jon and Mike, I appreciate it!!
Jon the preset rain brush is in the preset brushes of CS2
You can also download free 'weather' brushes on the internet, just google!
Susi, I have CS3, but I'll admit there is a ton of PS that I don't know. The only thing I know about brushes is when I use a filter, add a layer mask, click on "B" to get the brush tool, and erase my filter's effects where I don't want them. I had no idea that I could create neat things such as your raindrops in your "Nature's Child" shot. Are there any books or tutorials that deal with brushes in the way you use them. Thanks, Jon.
ps, I check the NAPP portfolio page every week to see if one of my shots gets picked as one of the images of the week. So far-no luck, but after seeing your shots there, I know I have a long way to go
Jon,Keep practicing and you will end up there! ..email me and I will send ya a screen shot of the preset brushes so you can find them easy. I have some free lessons on my site also at the bottom of my site. The link says "Portrait Articles"
