The Longbow. Built 4 miles from where I am but they very rarely fly close enough to ge a decent shot with my box brownie.

A newly built De Havaland Mosquito is is on its way from Auckland, New Zealand to Kansas to its new owner... The only one flying, I am told. I guess it will be doing the US air-shows..

Thank you Jim. This is from the 20-minutes of "silver lining" Jay mentioned earlier. The image belies the fact that the student pilot had cut his turn to final short, had to add power to drive into the crosswind and get back on the centerline, and dive at the runway like a Ju-87 before making a very nice landing. Just another day in the life of a future F-18 pilot

Thank you Jo. The field shot is a result of carrying my camera with me at all times. I was on a back road on my way home from a service call when I saw this scene. I parked my van, got out and shot for about 2 minutes and then was on my way again. Right place, right time...
