I didn't think to mention it, but that Capitol rotunda image was just one single capture, with a little contrast and sharpening adjustment. Every time I open a file from the 800 I think, "that's how a file should look!"

Re: Alliance week, I'm going to try to keep my schedule free for Thursday so we can have our gathering at HQ. We'll see if Glenn will be around to fly something for us. He'll be bringing the 17 into town from Tyler for our A2A missions, so we'll be able to shoot that at HQ. The new runway will be open by then, that should give us some photo ops. When we get closer we'll try to get an estimate on how many of us there'll be and we'll make a plan.

Well I guess I better just block Thursday out. I generally try to be in town the week before AFW just in case Ross needs something spur of the moment. I'll do everything I can to keep Thursday open so we can have a fun day.

Lol, it's like a prius by comparison or something

maybe I will have to try to hit up the JRB on Wednesday so that I am available for any Thursday tomfoolery. (strange side note, firefox doesn't like mig, Lol, prius, JRB, and oddly enough firefox, but is ok with tomfoolery)

Rodolfo, I drive a '96 Sonoma with 140k miles and rust holes. Working on getting something new, but most things as far out of my price range as a Tesla are "kinda cool"

I'm probably actually a decent target market for a full electric vehicle, since my daily commute is ~6 miles each way, with regular "long" trips up to NH for various things clocking in at around maybe 40 miles round trip, max. Still, even the cheap version is way, way out of my price range, and I do have the need for trips exceeding the range of most all electric vehicles now and then.

Love the MiG pictures - we need some of them at shows in the Eastern US...
