Good to see you back Lou. You have an awesome area to shoot there. I love the marsh. I bet it's gonna be fantastic in the spring. Good job on the shots and congrats on catching the little Kingfisher.

Thanks Mark Yeah yesterday I went out with my son for a few hours Nice day but I still am not sold on this place. Guess I got to much mountain blood in me. I may go back if I can get me money back.

Hiya Lou....I cannot even find a nature subject here lately in Louisiana.
I like your "shaking" heron
Like Mark noted, bet that marsh comes alive in a few months
Yeah it comes alive all right but with people I am sure. I need to get out of here and I'm trying. The heron was a pretty long one and I am surprised how well they both came out. 500+1.4 and 40D off a monopod, all of them. I love this 40D and I use it 10 times more than the 1dm2n. Everything about it is super. Great speed and AF in tracking and the 10+MP don't hurt to bad either and the settings are the same as the 1D and I can buy 3 40Ds for what one 1dm2n cost new. Thanks for the look. Hope some thing shows up in La. for you
Lou
PS I have a nice house here on the Cape with lots of ospreys nests GPS all in one package deal
