p.1 #1 · Help me find the software I saw

Some time ago, probably more than a year and less than two years, I read a thread here that made reference to a software tool that would eliminate things from an image and fill in with what ever surrounded the space. A link was included and I looked at the website but now I can't find it. I hope someone out there will know what I'm talking about and tell me how to find it. Thanks,

Dick

I think the software you are talking about is not a commercial product, but rather an academic exercise that was demonstrated. It could remove a person from a shot for example. I remember looking at the demo videos ... but, to the best of my knowledge it was developed by a university student from Northern Europe.

Good luck.

Here you go, it's being able to dynamic resize an image with minimal lost of details and a few other neat trinks. I think this is what you're talking about. It's linked on various sites and one of the co-creator has joined Adobe so it's a safe bet that we'll probably see a variation of this in a future release of Photoshop (IMHO).

The Alien Skin item was the one I was looking for. Pretty handy stuff. I've seen the demo of dynamic resizing. It's amazing. I hope it becomes availble sometime.

thanks.
