Lol I posted a b/w image of this exact clock sitting solo on a white background for this topic last year. I too like the haziness of the image, as if you are awakening after a long and likely fun evening with your friend Jose!

Great concept here, I probably would have titled it 'Tequila Sunrise' hehe . I like the hazy, groggy feeling you get by viewing this.
Thanks for your comments. I like the suggestion also.

My original image was of the clock at an extremely early time. DOF was very shallow and focus set on the hands. I felt it needed more drama so I added the bottle and glass. I got the haziness by pressing the camera into a pillow and the light refracting around the pillow gave it that hazy look.

Really nice, Howard! Like the orange tones here.
Thanks Bev. I used a table lamp with a light blanket over the shade I was trying to simulate late morning light. A small WB adjustment gave it that color cast. It was more golden before processing. An f1.2 aperture gave it that I am looking thru sleep covered eyes I hope I achieved.

Nice image. Fall asleep with the sunglasses on ?

You got me with the sunglasses question. I almost changed the title. But I realized that I was trying to convey the bottle led to another mid morning awakening and missed start and today was another day to start over.

Took me a while to figure out what this was about. Maybe I am a little slower than most. A change of title might have helped me but it seems the rest are getting it.
