p.1 #1 · Epson 2200...Please help me

I've recently acquired iMac, and when I connected the epson printer, the printer does not function properly.
I have the disc of the printer, and I've installed the driver.
But, when i try to print from Photoshop Element 4.0, the printer prints out an awful looking print.
Also, I thought i was able to choose the quality of print before i press "Print" button, but no such option come up during print procedure.

Did I miss something, or am i doing something wrong?

Please enlighten me...thank you.

By chance, did you read the manual ? Maybe the answers to your questions will be there.

You may have to download the latest epson drivers for your OS.

I've downloaded the latest driver for Mac, but I still get the low resolution..
Why is it that the file size become 220 dpi when I open with Element 4.0?
