Doug, these are magnificent. If I was forced to pick a favorite, #10 would be it.
You and Tony have brought the best of these birds to the forum.

Wow, Doug. Every one of these is stunning. Wonderful detail and poses. I like them all, but am drawn to #8, with the warm tones and neat BG. Fantastic shooting.

Doug, these are great. I have a faint memory of you being in the IL/IA area. Is that right? If so, where are these? I didn't know the eagles were down here yet...

Great series Doug. I like # 1, 3, 5 and 8. The backgrounds look good in all. I hope to shoot some this weekend along the Delaware. Thanks for showing these awesome shots. Herb

Oh--just too cool, Doug! I love every one of them. I think I like #7 the best--but then.... oh--they are all good! Congrats on such a fine day.
Thank you for the commetns Bonnie. It was my first efforts for eagles this year, and everything seemed to be working in my favor, the light, the wind and the fine company of Les, couldn't get much better.

Thank you Bob. These were taken on the Mississippi River north of Dubuque, Ia. All were shot with the MarkIIn, 500mm w/1.4tc, some hand held, some on a tripod. Distances varied from approx. 40 - 50 yards to very close fly bys. Thanks again for stopping by.
