Shame on me

, I haven't used this program since I rely too much on C1 and LR to handle my captures. However, I would like to see which AF points the camera chose on some "ring of fire" setttings. Will the DPP show the actual AF points? I have been playing with it but I couldn't find the setting that will display any AF points....

. Or do I need another program for this to work? Can someone please enlighten me?

I think, it's the Image Browser that you need to use.

But it will be very misleading if you do "focus and recompose".

Why that DPP has never the same colors (nothing to do with NTSC) with CS3 and LightRoom1.3.1?

I have found that if you use Neutral in DPP it is not visibily different to me compared to LR.

i found the same thing dvrnav. not only colors but also sharpness looks much better on dpp but when you see it on lightroom it looks very different. in other words, the picture looks much better on dpp but when you see it in preview(mac) or lightroom it looks different. less colors and sharpness. its kind miss leading

And this color difference is also transfered to print outs. Just FYI DPP has the most aquarate colors and I am trying to find a solution to CS3 or LR for RAW CR2 file. I really wonder how the other people solve that issue.

I have processed pictures in both DPP and LR and the colors are very similar if you use faithful on DPP. That is my findings, but for some reason ACR in LR and photoshop creates a very warm yellow cast to the pictures. I love the workflow on LR and that you are able to play around with the fill slider on LR too, but I like the colors that DPP produces. So I tend to use DPP way more then LR.
