Pillow Pod is another variation on bean bags. Bean bags in general are a great camera support/stabilization option. There are many variations and different prices - Blub, Molar by Vertex, SafariSak by Kenisis, Pod, others. They all work well depending on the size weight of equipment you want to stabilize.
It is a simple device, so IMO, you should not have to pay premium prices to get a good functional product. It should be a non-abrasive bag capable of holding bird seed, rice, beans, whatever..
