Fred, Thanks for your input; you make a good point! The reason I ended up desaturating the eggs is that they are brown eggs, and so the full color version did not show as much contrast (between the eggs and strawberry) as I would have liked. I believe the better solution would've been to go back to the grocery store and buy white eggs! (but I only shot this last night, and opted not to go out again at the last minute.) Philly Rains Offline Image Upload: Off #274 - Perplexed farmer Hi Carrol! I really love it!! And I totally understand about the brown eggs! When I did my shoot, I only had brown eggs, too. I tried using markers to color them and it was a disaster. I had to borrow a white one from my Mom. Love the red of the strawberry with all the neutral tones...great DOF, and lighting.
