Edit actions in photoshop? Seems like such an obvious thing to let us be able to do. For instance, I have actions on one computer that open certain files, and then save the completed file into a folder. I take that action to my home computer where maybe the drive letters are different or the file is in a different folder, and it doesnt work, and I either have to re-record the whole action, or record just the parts that are messed up and then copy that step into the action and remove the old one.
We can open up an action in a text file and see the steps, why couldn't they make it so we can just edit the drive letter or whatever, save it, and the action will work?
IIRC, there is a re-record step capability. It's non-intuitive & buried in menus as I recall. I know I've done it before, and I have to go on a treasure hunt every time I need to do it again.
