I really like this, Scott. The tonal variation is rich and pleasing. The tall stem and leaf on the right keeps you in the image, circling back into the deep woods. I am a big advocate of long, landscape cropping, and you've done well here, imo. The image is sharp and crisp, but not oversharpened

My only complaint is that there are a few hot spots, the most noticable being the two in the lower center, and the very top of the aforementioned stem and leaf. You might consider cloning out the two in the lower center.

What lens did you use (no exif data with image)? Hand held?

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you all liked it. And Alan, thanks for identifying the hot spots...I hadnt noticed them.
It's an image I am quite pleased with, but it always helpful to get confirmation and have others find elements that need a fix or dont work.
I've taken down the saturation a bit, printed on a fine art paper: looks great!

20D, 24-105 IS @ 32 mm, f10, 1/6s, ISO 100, tripod mounted, mirror lockup, cropped, duotone in LR, sharpened in PS.
