p.1 #1 · Tiny Planets

I've been spending a lot of time creating "tiny planets" and wanted to get some feedback on them. Each is merged of around 60 images.

WOW! Mind-bending! I like 'em.

I'd love to know how you did it, but if I were you, I don't think I'd be publishing details. A hint would be nice, though.

Truly unique. Congratulations on something new. It doesn't happen very often.

One question, are there any people on these planets?

Thanks lylejk, mhuebner, and Jack Spyker for a polite way of letting me know that ideaattic did not invent this. I had just never seen it before. I appreciate your graciousness.

I've one this too...a simple way is to start with the right photo...
Take a even landscape shot in photoshop make the image square (uncheck constraints box)
then rotate 180 degrees then go into filters displace and click polar opposites....
Its really hard to get some as nice as these those...most seem off and there is alot of post work to be done making the lines blend and disappear....
I really love the first couple....
great job on the ideaattic!

Those are really great creations. #1 is my favorite. If you turned #2 to the right so it looks more like an eye, it could be like the Lord of the Rings...
