Well I like the yoyo itself. It has a nice pop to it. Now in my opinion here is what distracts me. One, maybe you should leave the end pieces in the yoyo itself? Not sure why you have that on the side and the difference in color takes away from the actual yoyo.. The other thing is some of the strong highlights? Lastly, I would personally have picked a better background or stand to take the photo on. Using your laptop, the dirt in between the keys and the really distracting light in the back makes me question what you were thinking or is there more to this that we don't know?
I agree with Steven, the biggest challenge is the background. Way too busy with lines that are sloping and leaving the surface adn bright lights behind.
I would have used a longer depth. Having text on spools that is obscured does not work for me.
The shadow leaving the picture in front is also distracting.
yah i took this picture because i was selling the yo ... the two pieces on the left are to verify that this actually came from the japan national competion... i used my laptop because the colors on it are very blan and it was dirty so it highlighted one of the most beautiful yoyos made... but i agree with the shadow leaving the image and the highlights in the background are ver distracting
