p.1 #1 · Print Sale Question

I've managed to land my first sale of several 16x20 SW landscapes prints, but need to ask a question of pros on this forum before I get to the print stage. For web viewing, I always include a copyright watermark on all of my images. For the final print, I'll be using gallery print-style framing with a title below the image. Do y'all normally keep the copyright watermark on the final print? If so, where? Or is this not recommended? Thanks for any help that can be provided.

No copyrights on a final print ever. (In my opinion, at least). I generally sign the matte, however.

I don't normally put a copyright on my prints. I did at one time put my logo/studio name on the lower right corner. I quit doing that and now sign the print there or in the matte.

Another good idea is to put your contact information on the back of the print. I've had a number of framing shops contact me when they get a print I've sold and want to order another copy for another customer. I learned that one the hard way when a framer spent a week trying to hunt me down.

Depends on the print type. Any freebies _ALWAYS_ have logo/copyright on lower right corner. Sports prints also get them. Weddings, landscapes, wildlife, etc do not.

Thanks everyone...I was leaning that way, just thought I'd check to see what the experts are doing. I also like the idea of putting the contact info on the back of the print. Thanks again to all.
