Socrate, looks like you're in the same boat as I am - butterflies are the new birds. Great shots - color, comp, isolation of subject from BG - you'll be ready when the birds come back -
I have looked and looked at this post and I am unable to pick a favorite shot. The detail is too fine, the colors too vivid and the composition of all too good to single out any one. All just too amazing. Steve W
These are absolutely beautiful shots. All framers in my eyes. The colors are vibrant without being oversaturated, the backgrounds really make the subjects standout, composition is spot on and the detail brings them to life. Great work!
It's a tough decision, but have to go with #6 as my very favorite. Just love the delicate look and the BG isolates it in a nice way - directing all attention to the butterfly and flower. All are exceptional though. Fantastic shooting!
Thanks for your kind words, Cris. It has been very slow with the birds, but fortunately butterflies are still hanging around.

Hi, David. Thanks for your comments. I just can't believe there are no birds around. Usually during this time of the year I would see, Yellowbelly Sapsuckers, Downies, Sparrows, Kinglets, and many other birds. This year the birds food is just rotting in the feeders.

Hi Socrate.
I like 3,6 and 8. Would 10 be considered a wave-off ?
Cheers

Hi Harry. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for the comments.
I believe you can also consider # 10 a go around.
I'll be shooting at the Blue Angels Airshow this week-end here in Pensacola. I just hope the weather will be as good as the last couple of years.
