Just wanted to say thanks for the votes on 267. I guess some weeks you just get lucky.
It cheered me up, as last Thursday I managed to break my elbow - my shutter arm, so there won't be any photography....no WA for me for a while...
I'll try and check in though, and see what you're all up to.

Ah no that's terrible! Been through it myself last year (hard to hold a camera when you're on crutches!) and it's very frustrating. Hope it heals up nice and quick for you.

Rest it for sometime, and get a good tripod .. :-)
Maybe at some point I could rope in/bribe someone to set up my tripod...at the moment its impossible...because it's a joint they wouldn't put it in a plaster, or even a splint, so i have to be careful I don't move it or get it knocked. But I'm sure there must be one-armed, disabled photographers out there with ways and means.
Oh No! I'm so sorry to hear this, Suse! You be careful, and keep following Doctor's orders. Better that you have a little 'down' time, than a lifetime of trouble with that elbow.

Sellotape is made for ocassions such as this. A roll or two to bind your camera to your hair and head should suffice, and stick your remote shutter release in your mouth for a bit of tongue triggering.
So there you go, no excuses now.

Not that breaking your elbow is splendid - that's actually pretty rubbish. Did I ever mention that elbow is my 7th favourite word?
