OK, now i want to primarily shoot within my studio, maybe on a wedding.
I have to ask, what would you use one for in your studio? You say you'll be using it on a full frame body...so I just see a lot of distracting elements being in the corners of the shot which you'll end up cropping/editing out...so why not simply use a wideangle lens instead of a fisheye?
Canon vs Sigma ... I went with Canon. I haven't tried the Sigma, so I can't compare.

Canon no doubt, no matter what the stats show.
Wow, that's blind brand loyalism at its best... I'm a big Canon fan also, but in this case Canon just doesn't provide enough here to justify the extra cost. If the Canon had a USM focusing motor, then my lens collection would be all Canon. But until then, there will still be one Sigma in my collection...

@Forrest
The annoying things around will be cut out - subject isolated.
For stock agencies.. People (business, working, showing, ...) with big heads and small bodies.

So.. conclusion: Sigma 15 non-DG for 359 Euro will be bought tomorrow... Instead of 680 Euro for the Canon. My first non-Canon...

I've got a Sigma non-DG arriving within the next day or so. That version is so much less expensive than the DG I just had to give it a try, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

EU prices a bummer. At B&H, Canon $580USD, Sigma $549USD. If I were buying in the US, Canon for the price difference sounds good. Or maybe I'm missing something.
p.2 #6 · Which Fisheye? Canon or Sigma (with/without DG)?
I find there isn't much flare for a fisheye I'm really happy with my sigma fish. dg version. I do find it's a wee bit yellow compared to the usual canon stuff though. Not hugely but a little. I also find it runs about a half a stop hot for exposure too oddly enough. Steve
p.2 #7 · Which Fisheye? Canon or Sigma (with/without DG)?
One thing nobody has mentioned yet is that the Sigma focuses a bit closer. 1:3.8 versus 1:7.1 magnification ratio. Won't be an issue for shooting people's faces, but it's the only significant physical difference (other than the slight difference in size).

I was able to borrow a friends Sigma 15 mm fisheye and ause it on my MK III here are three examples what it can do. I myself opted for the Canon and so far it is as I have not been dissapointed. I would recomend either lens
