Especially like the composition on the first one with the deliberate angled horizon.

The light and textures on the last shot is also very nice.

Love that last shot J. The sillouette is not bad either.

It's not to unusal to find the elk where you would least expect them. They will go where the food is, escape predators, or in this case (I'm just guessing here) it may have been driven off it's summer range due the wildfires we are having in the west. Seems like I heard something about some fires around the Laramie area this season.

yes the hill in the BG of that one was a nice touch

no real fires around Laramie as i recall but this big guy was just off the highway and all alone , thanks for the comments
