Some fave shots. The landscape shot was very underexposed (shot last Jan) - it was the first shot in the session, so that's why I ignored it. very surprised to see that the D3X file can handle 2.5 stops of pushing and I can barely see any noise on the shadows. Otherwise the rest is from last weekend. It would be nice if we can upload 1600px on this thread...
The Forgotten Landscape : Nikon D3X, Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 AFS ED IF, Lee .6 Hard Grad, B+W 10 stop ND

Love this shot even as you say underexposed. Would be nice to have been at this place!
You're right, visually, it's a nice place but to be honest, this place is quite treacherous. Even tho I was standing atop a slippery boulder, the waves just kept on battering me. Plus it's cold.
The raw file is almost black. Increasing the exposure to 2.5 stops in Phase One Capture 7 was a breeze. All the details are still there. The rest of the post processing is just changing highlights from 255 to 241. That's it.
