Film is simply way too awesome...haha. And the Santana concert was shot at 1/125th sec and Bruce S. is shot at 1/60th ...imagine that. With monopod of course.
Looking at the Provia 400F transparencies at my loupe, pushed at iso1600, is a delictable experience...(sounding bookish). And I really have this urge to go back to 35mm film but the costs are holding me back, lol.
I've been shooting a decent amount of film with my N80, mainly black and white and some slide film (Sensia, which of course is just consumer Provia). I like it a lot, and it got me into FX.
It was a very nice sunny day but the wind chill reminds us it's still winter
All were taken on a Nikon D1X, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 K and the el cheapo Kenko polarizer. No photoshopping of course and no cropping. All were loaded straight to NX2 and converted to Tiff. The only settings I changed in NX2 is the correct colour balance, that's it.
