THOSE are really great images!!! Very original look to them. Great example of where high ISO and short DOF make the image stronger and add tension. Has a very storytelling aspect baked into the images. Nice work and stay safe.
Two shots taken May 30 2009 in Owatonna Minnesota. This is Paul Mayasich, an extraordinary blues player. I only caught the last 20 minutes or so of his show, and was still blown away. Hope to hear him play again soon. Both shots taken with a D700 and Nikkor 300mm AF-S f/4, hand-held in a very dark venue.
D700, 35/2D, Daylight WB. Dust storm at the end of shift.... visibility was severely reduced that day/night, and one of my friends actually aided in the prevention of a mortar attack that night.
