Another "so what" PMA for me. I know some people are happy, but besides the 16-35 MkII, there's nothing for me to be excited about this time around; again.
Looks like at least 1 PK (06), 2 PMAs (06/07), and, god I hope not more, announcement opportunities down with no 1Ds release. I guess the fat lady hasn't sung yet, but it doesn't look good...

PMA hasn't even started yet. Canon sometimes spreads out their announcements. They announced high-end gear yesterday... maybe they'll announce prosumer/lower-end gear today or tomorrow or next week.
I think they do have another round, but I doubt it's the 1DsIII. One person who got the 1DIII correct had the 1DsIII for May. I would like to believe that, but my motivation is wanting that camera.
MPS throughput would indicate 22 x 4fps. I guess the 'dynamic crop mode" is the question. With that mode it would be the universal camera. Live mode would be nice for TS lenses.
I like the new improvements and if there was a 1Dsmk III, FF 22megapixel 5fps and the current improvements including 14 bit, I would jump on it. However, I can see where the new camera is something that the sports and action photographers would be interested in. I do not really have a need for live preview... 6 more months..
