Any critiques on the studio lighting or anything? It took a couple hours for me to get it to where I was happy with it. 3 lights and a variety of modifiers, flags and gobos.
The light is nice enough, I guess. It doesn't seem to have an organizing concept though. A watch, strawberries, camera, money (we know those things don't go together, if you have one you don't have the other ), a spoon of -- what, I dunno. And the middle is a big open space. The only thing that's clear is the watch. Try to tell us a story, or arrange a composition to show the relationship between the objects. Right now they're sort of scattered randomly.
Well, a story is exactly what it shows.
Spoonful of sugar, strawberries, a ladies watch, something lacy in the background, money and camera. A young professional woman getting ready to go out, maybe sight seeing, maybe street shooting, could be in the morning, could be in the evening... of course it's open to interpertation. Everything can't be spelled out so obvious, what's the fun in that? See... not random at all and all those things CAN go together.
