Yes this is a pretty close representation of the weird and wild light that evening at Cape Kiwanda. Doesn't happen often, but when it does... keep shooting!
What an odd rock formation - the combination of the shore, waves and clouds really makes the image seem twisted in some way. Wonderful light and colors.
Yeah, there is something about this one with the clouds and the rocks, that just seems to twist you and pull you into it almost like it is some kind of a vortex! Great job on shooting!
I audibly said "wow" when I saw this image. Keep up the good work. The colors are beautiful. I wish I could sit in a spot for long enough to get such a good subject. I've got beach but no rocks

Thanks very much. Your statement makes me think of something Ken Duncan (KenDuncan.com) taught me... When putting together a print portfolio, it is all about the "wow" factor. If the images slap people in the face with awe and beauty, and the print quality is top notch then people will fork out cash for those images! People simply relate to quality. Then this allow us to make the money to go out and do this work even more, and with better equipment!
